Step 1: INTERVIEW STRATEGY SESSION (1 hour):
This session serves as a starting point for your interview preparation. We meet with you one-on-one to discuss the fundamentals of the interview process and answer your questions to demystify this process.
We perform in-depth case studies of sample interview questions and provide strategies for answering difficult scenarios.
This session is most effective if completed prior to MOCK INTERVIEW LEVEL 1 (see description below). We recommend scheduling this session early in the preparation process to allow for appropriate time to integrate our feedback and optimize your mock interview experience.
We offer two types of strategy sessions:
- Package A: First-time interview candidates: This is your chance to understand the fundamentals of the interview process and brainstorm strategies for tackling difficult questions.
Price (1 hour session): $150

- Package B: Repeat interview candidates: Since candidates who are repeat interview candidates already understand the process and format of the interview, we identify potential weaknesses in your approach and work with you to develop specific strategies to fine tune your preparation.

Step 2: MOCK INTERVIEW – LEVEL 1 (90 minutes) – MMI FORMAT / PANEL INTERVIEW FORMAT / CDA STRUCTURED INTERVIEW FORMAT
A mock interview session is 90 minutes in length and includes:
Simulated interview to practice answering different types of questions / scenarios.
Debriefing session to discuss strategies to maximize your performance. We offer techniques for answering the unique questions typically posed in the interview and provide tips for managing stress. We also build confidence by offering detailed comments on the clarity of your responses as well as non-verbal cues such as body language in order to produce an overall winning impression.
Get into the interview mindset and familiarize yourself with the interview structure (MMI / Panel/ CDA).
Learn to overcome common problems such as time management issues.
Receive Astroff Level 1 Feedback containing professional, detailed comments and scores following the simulation to help you improve your performance.
Level 1 can take place in-person on-campus, by telephone or via Skype.

Step 3: MOCK INTERVIEW – LEVEL 2 (90 minutes) – MMI FORMAT / PANEL INTERVIEW FORMAT / CDA STRUCTURED INTERVIEW FORMAT
For students who complete Level 1:
A Level 2 mock interview session is 90 minutes in length and includes:
Simulated interview to practice answering different types of questions / scenarios.
Debriefing session to discuss strategies to maximize your performance.
Compare your results from Level 1 by performing a Level 2 Mock Interview with new, challenging scenarios.
Concentrate on refining your skills by incorporating the feedback provided in Level 1.
Receive Astroff Level 2 feedback including quantitative scores along with detailed qualitative feedback identifying your strengths and weaknesses to continue improving your skills.
Track your progress by comparing the results of your Level 1 and Level 2 scores along with qualitative feedback.
Level 2 can take place in person on-campus, by telephone or via Skype.

Step 4: MOCK INTERVIEW – LEVEL 3 (30 minutes)
For students who complete Level 1 and Level 2:
- We offer one-on-one coaching sessions to discuss your results from Level 1 and Level 2 in depth. The aim is to compare and contrast your performances from both sessions, looking for patterns and trends.
- Dr. Robert Astroff provides individual strategies to answer questions based on issues identified in your Level 1 and Level 2 mock interviews, builds confidence, contextualizes your results, and addresses any questions you may have to maximize your performance.
Level 3 meeting can take place in person on-campus, by telephone or via Skype.
